Centerville is essentially built out, which makes the structural engineering work here very specific: almost everything is a remodel, an addition, an ADU conversion, or the occasional infill custom home on a small lot. We've worked on enough Centerville projects to know the housing patterns — the 1990s subdivisions on the west side, the established affluent pockets up by the foothills, the small but steady stream of additions and second- story projects in between.

A recent Centerville project
A homeowner wanted to add a primary suite above the existing two-car garage. We evaluated the garage walls (adequate with reinforcement), designed new headers over the existing door opening to take the additional vertical load, and stamped the package. The addition added about 380 sq ft and the structural scope was $2,200.
